About Me

Mark Sherman, LCSW is a licensed mental health counselor specializing in individual, couples and family therapy.  He  maintains a private practice in Oceanside, CA.

With over twenty-five years experience as a therapist,  Mark enjoys working with a broad spectrum of clients. He specializes in working with children and teens, but also has extensive experience with couples and families.  His areas of expertise include depression; anxiety; ADHD; PTSD; Bipolar Disorder; couples issues; family issues; communication; anger management. Mark also has over twenty years experience working with military families and is especially capable of helping them manage and resolve their unique issues.

 Mark is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. His therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. He integrates complimentary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, Mark works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they seek.
